Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The church has been commissioned to preach the Gospel unto the whole world. I would like to introduce our mission statement to you today: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Luke 4:18
Our mission is to see men delivered form bondage through the preaching of the Gospel, so that he can be brought into fellowship with God first, and with his fellow man. I would like to encourage each of you to support the preaching of the Gospel, through your prayers, physical support (gifts and talents), and financial support. Remember, the soul we save might be yours! CHURCH HISTORY
Antioch Baptist Church was established in the year of 1941. Through God's divine plan and purpose, Gregory Cooper, Sr. was appointed as pastor in April 1990. Under the leadership of Pastor Cooper, Antioch became debt free in 1997.
After 63 years, Antioch has a congregation of 400 men, women and children who are excited and passionate about God. Pastor Cooper and the members are believing God for a million dollar Life Center to be built this year.
The Life Center will have classrooms for children, a gym for recreational and social activities and daycare, among other things. God is truly doing a new thing in the lives of Pastor Cooper and the members of Antioch. In His Service I Remain,
